Discussion & Development of Customized Manuals

We understand that every organization has unique operational needs. Therefore, we facilitate in-depth discussion and consultation sessions to prepare traffic management manuals tailored specifically for your organization.

For instance, we have collaborated closely with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) to develop the TNB Traffic Management Plan (TMP) Guidelines. This document was comprehensively designed to be:

• Complete: Covering every phase of work from initial planning to final demobilization.
• User-Friendly: Equipped with clear technical illustrations (TCPs) for various site scenarios.
• Fully Compliant: Meeting the stringent standards of authorities – JKR & LLM (JKR ATJ 2C/85 & LLM/GP/T6/16 2nd Edition) requirement.

Our Scope of Work & Technical Expertise

Based on the guidelines we develop, we offer a comprehensive scope of work to ensure technical compliance and safety within the work zone:

1. Technical Plan Development (TMP & TCP)

We prepare comprehensive Traffic Management Plan (TMP) documents and detailed, to-scale Traffic Control Plan (TCP) drawings. This includes defining the advance warning zone, transition zone, buffer zone, work area, and termination zone.

2. Advanced Traffic Control Personnel & Technology

We provide specialized human and robotic solutions to manage vehicle flow effectively:

Certified Flagman: Our flagmen are trained to use standard hand signals and flags (red/green) or “STOP/GO” paddles to coordinate traffic, especially during one-way alternating flow or contra-flow operations.

Robotic Flagman: For high-risk areas, we deploy robotic flagmen to provide constant, fatigue-free signaling. These units enhance visibility and remove human personnel from the direct path of oncoming traffic, significantly reducing the risk of accidents.

3. Shadow Vehicles & Buffer Protection

To protect our workforce and road users, we utilize Shadow Vehicles as a mobile safety shield:

Positioning: These vehicles are stationed at a calculated distance behind the work crew to absorb the impact of any errant vehicles.

High Visibility: Equipped with high-intensity warning lights, beacons, and directional arrows to guide traffic safely away from the work zone.

4. Multi-Duration Work Management

We adapt traffic management strategies based on your project’s duration:

• Emergency/Immediate Works: Rapid coordination and setup in less than 60 minutes.
• Short-Term Works: Temporary lane closures or diversions lasting less than one month.
• Long-Term Works: Large-scale management for HDD trenching or road extension works exceeding one month.

5. High-Risk Traffic Control

We possess specialized expertise in handling challenging work zones, including:

• Fast Lane Works: Utilizing shadow vehicles and sequential warning signs for maximum protection.
• Contra-Flow Systems: Managing two-way traffic flow on a single lane with certified flagman coordination.
• Residential Areas: Implementations designed to minimize disruption to local residents.

6. Specialized Manpower & Equipment Provision

• TMT & ERT Teams: Providing full Traffic Management Teams and trained Emergency Response Teams.
• Standard-Compliant Equipment: Supplying reflective cones, plastic/concrete barriers, blinkers, and Variable Message Signs (VMS) according to JKR/LLM specifications.

7. Safety Monitoring & Reporting (TMSR)

We conduct periodic site audits and provide a Traffic Management Safety Report (TMSR) every three months to ensure all planned procedures are consistently followed on-site.
